‘Diet Coke is illegal in the Philippines’
This has nothing to do with Diet Coke. Or Philippines. This has everything to do with Greasy Spoons, existentialism, and participating in a socio-psychosis-based experiment that will later be transformed into an artist film. Curious? So you should be. Renowned for her ceremoniously conceptual events/installations, emerging artist BestCleo invites festival-goers to an interactive dining experience in the magnate of the Dalston quarter, the Greasy Spoon. Participants will drink and dine to a three-course meal, whilst simultaneously being entertained by a philosophical lecture, ballet performance, brain burst bingo and live music. The aim of this Gesamtkunstwerk? To create a discomforting and surreal happening that questions how we understand mental health, social discourse, comfort, and security. It’s bound to be barking mad and mighty memorable. Oh, and if you didn’t know what that long german word was (pay attention at the back), it’s an all-embracing art form using every possible kind of style at hand. Yes, that.
Please note capacity for this event strictly limited. To confirm your place, you must reserve here for £5. Only available to Land of Kings ticket-holders.
