Hammer & Tongue

Promoters of the UK’s biggest poetry slam events, Hammer & Tongue challenge those that are poets and don’t know it (well, perhaps they do know it) to get up on stage and spit out their best rhymes in an open competition. The event whittles the slammers down until one person is crowned champion – it’s like the rap-battle scene from 8 Mile, but with posher words. Almost.
