The mysterious figure we know as Brolin arrived unannounced and fully formed in the autumn of 2012, quietly releasing his track ‘NYC’ to a steadily building stream of acclaim and praise. His immediate appeal established, demand for his music spiralled, and instead of retreating into a shell, Brolin answered. The release of the Cundo EP with its spectacular tracks ‘Reykjavik’ and ‘Lisboa’ showed Brolin could keep delivering on the infectious productions he’d become known for. As well as working with Peaking Lights and Luke Abbott on his own material, Brolin has already collaborated with the cream of the UK underground, including FTSE and South London Ordnance.
