Stealing Sheep

Hotly-tipped psych-folk darlings Stealing Sheep create lo-fi, DIY pop in the shape of harmony-drenched old time vocals, spiralling psychedelic guitars, hypnotic beats and sixties style drone synths. They started writing together in the summer of 2010 and by the end of the year were already touring the UK’s folk clubs and cafés. They’ve been hurrahed by Lauren Laverne, Jarvis Cocker and Steve Lamacq, recorded an off-the-cuff live session with Rob da Bank, played Secret Garden Party, Standon Calling and The Great Escape, and pretty much done everything else a new band dreams of doing to hit the ground with Usain Bolt-like speed to make everyone pay attention.
