The Nest Collective

Since forming in 2006 as the jubilant offspring of The Magpie’s Nest (BBC Folk Club of 2010), The Nest Collective has grown to become a London beacon of discovery for the resurgence of ‘New Folk, Old Folk & No Folk’. For Land Of Kings, they bring ‘An English Country Garden’ to the tucked away Eastern Curve Garden, a hidden oasis amid the hustle and bustle of Dalston Junction that’s become a destination for alternative events and green-fingered frolicks, including the luminescent ‘Festival of Light’ late last year in which a cacophony of lanterns was released into the night sky. As the sun sets on Sunday, nestle into the campfire with a seasonal brew to whet your lips, as the wind rustles through the shrubbery and the air echoes under the troubadour chants of Folk’s first mates.
