There’s a Rumble in the Jumble…

London’s most stylish jumble sale (yes, there is such a thing) is returning for the third time this year, bringing its horde of knick-knacks back to Oval Space at the end of April. Hosted by Gemma Cairney and The Music Circle (part of Annie Lennox‘s Circle initiative), this is a jumble like no other. For one, it ditches moth-eaten cardies, dusty VHS war films, sticky ripped cookery books from yesteryore and other crusty paraphernalia in favour of donated items from big-wig celebs and new items at smash-and-grab prices. Fed up with your wardrobe? Bored of Beyond Retro? How about some stash from Jessie Ware, Paloma Faith, Daisy Lowe, Arcade Fire, Florence, Annie Mac, Bat For Lashes, Metronomy, Disclosure or London Grammar (to name a few)? Or some new shit form House of Holland, Dr Martens, Sonos and more? Yeah? Sound good? It’s 3 quid entry plus a bag of jumble, and inside there’s tea, cakes, a photobooth, make-up & hair stations, and general goodtime larks. Plus, because it’s all for charity (OXFAM, raising money for the victims of conflict in the DRC) you’ll feel smug and saintly when you leave – much better than the post-weekend shame slump that usually comes with Monday morning, eh?

See the flyer below for all the details. Then stick it in your i-Cal and pat yourself on the back.
